How To Unblock Someone On Facebook
There are a lot of reasons you might want to block someone you have as a friend on Facebook. It might not even be your friend, but you’re just pissed as a result of their attitude or the nuisance they are constituting on your page. It can be so annoying that they will not only stay within your posts but also come right at you in your dms (direct messages).
Now let’s get this straight: blocking a person on Facebook can be healthy for both you and the blocked individual. However, you might have done this by mistake, or you need to let the person see a particular post by you. Whatever reason you had to block them, you are not to blame for taking that decision in the first place. At the end of this article, you will have a good understanding of how to unblock someone on Facebook.
Remember that when you block a profile on Facebook, they won’t be able to do any of the following:
1.see anything you post on your page
2.send you a message
3.tag you in any form of content
4.Add you as a friend
5.invite you to any events or group
It could be a long time friend you want to keep away from. This may also be someone you just met or haven’t even met and they decided to constitute a nuisance. Perhaps they just tag or mention you in posts that do not align with your values. We recognize that a lot of factors could have contributed to your decision to block them. But do not worry, we will show you the whole process of unblocking someone on the application. You will find all the information you need below.
FACEBOOK PROCESS
The process of unblocking them is easy, but many people have trouble navigating this as the option is buried in your account settings. When you decide to unblock a person, they will be able to see the posts that you share on the application. HHowever, that person will not automatically become your friend on Facebook, even if you both were friends before you blocked them. Generally, when you block a person on Facebook, you also unfriend them automatically. Unblocking them will not allow you to add them back as friends. For you to become friends again with them, you would need to send them a separate friend request if you want to be their friend again. By Facebook standards, when you unblock a profile, you won’t be able to block it again for a few days. You will also need to wait 48 hours before you can become friends again.
FACEBOOK BROWSERS
Now, this process is different for those who use the classic mobile browser and for those who use the updated mobile browser. This is because of the difference between the two versions. You might be wondering how the classic pages differ from the updated pages. Let me quickly walk you through that. Facebook announced in February 2021 that the platform will begin rolling out a new format for business pages. This is why it is also called the "New Page Experience." Facebook has been rolling out the updated mobile browser for a while now. This updated browser is also known as the "new page experience." This new experience was designed to replace the classic page experience by updating every feature, from page management and user access to feeds and layout. Basically, the new page update affects the backend, and only the admins and people managing the page will be able to see it. The classic mobile browser gives your page a new layout and the ability to switch between page and profile. You will also have a separate news feed just for your page.
The new page experience now offers a redesigned page layout and experience. Unlike in the past, where everything appears rough and muddled, all important features are well aligned. The new layout is much cleaner and more user-friendly. If you wish to manage a page, you will need to switch to it. Before this, all you had to do was open the page from your account, and you could manage it. If you just open the page, you will only be able to view its content. You will not be able to manage or make any changes.
In this classic page experience, anyone who likes your page will automatically follow it. But if a user does not want your posts showing up on their feeds, they could unfollow your page. This doesn’t automatically mean they will dislike the page.
HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN BROWSERS
You can also switch between the two browsers, but before you begin, you must have Facebook access to a new page. If you already do, then simply follow these easy steps.
On mobile:
1 Open the Facebook Application
2. Click on your profile photo in the bottom right.
3. Under your name, tap on the new page that you want to open.
This will automatically switch to your new page and open it.
